This place is exceptional. We first were greeted by friendly staff who walked us to the room and explained everything to us. We booked a traditional tatami room with breakfast and dinner included which was served inside the room. The food was amazing and it felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant. The indoor and open air onsen were great. Everything was clean. Location is not too far of a walk from the station. All the staff were so friendly and polite. I would recommend everyone coming to hakone to stay in this place

We loved the nice space (traditional Japanese style). It was clean and provided well equipped facilities. The staff were unbelievably friendly. Offered free transportation to the station.

Convenient location with walking distance from the Hakone-Yumoto station. Easy to get around with trains and.buses to other areas in Hakone, including the lake and the Open Air Museum. Traditional Japanese setting in the room was lovely, and the availability of outdoor and indoor onsens is a great plus.

Traditional Ryoken. Enjoyed the public indoor/outdoor onsens. Very peaceful. We opted for the dinner on one night. If staying during the week note many restaurants in Hakone not open after 5pm. Found a great Italian for the 2nd night and had to queue. Enjoyed the traditional Japanese hospitality.
