No meals are served at this property.Please note, the property is located on a hill. Guests with small children or heavy luggage are strongly advised to take the bus. Nearby bus stop, Daino-chaya on the Hakone Kyukaido Route K, is a 2 minute walk from the property. Please also note that the final bus from Hakone Yumoto Station departs at 20:15.Guests arriving after check-in hours (20:00) must inform the property in advance. If the property is not informed, the booking may be treated as a no show. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.Please note that towels and yukata robes are not available in guest rooms but can be rented from the front desk for an additional fee.Please also note that amenities such as toothbrushes and shaving razors are not provided in guest rooms but can be purchased at the front desk for an additional fee.The property cannot accept bookings which exceed 3 rooms or more, as well as bookings which exceed 10 guests or more.

We slept on a double bed in the dorm, it was fine, spacious, quite. They have 2 Onsen, one indoor and one outdoor, male and female are separated, to give the opportunity to try both of the onsen they have a schedule with timing Tattoo friendly The common area was stunning, but not sociable

Lovely clean and comfortable hostel with onsen in the property. The rooms are a good size and the beds have a privacy curtain and a small place to store valuables. The common areas are open 24/7 to use the kitchen or chill out downstairs and the onsen are open until 1am so you can enjoy a nice relaxing soak before bed. I liked everything about this place

Beautiful huge living room which was very cosy, nice staff that gave me a lot of info. This was actually my first onsen and very nice & cosy to start with, not too hot. Cute village as well, really enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful room with views of trees and mountains, shared lounge and terrace also have lovely views. Outdoor Onsen bath is wonderful. Relaxed and friendly hostel vibe, just far enough out of Hakone Yumoto to be peaceful but easy walk into town and right on the Tozan bus route. Great laundry facilities! And fantastic to be able to leave our luggage after checkout allowing us to make most of our last day in Hakone. Thanks to everyone there.

We stayed in spacious japanese style room. The room was nice and cozy with beautiful view. The common space and the kitchen were great. Friendly and helpful staff.

Quiet, clean and comfortable hostel in walking distance of the station. I liked the pod style dorm beds with power, reading light, hooks and hangers, privacy curtain, a decent size shelf to put things as well as a lockable storage box. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Indoor and outdoor onsens were both nice and two out of three times I had it to myself (which was good as I’m not quite used to bathing naked with other people yet!!)

Easily the most positive surprise during my trip as I booked the last available bed quite late. Very good bed(double in the dorm room), comfortable with quite a lot of storage space and your own window! They change towels daily as well which was a big plus. Toilets outside of the room which is always great, the onsen was such an amazing thing to have right in the hostel after a day of hiking, it’s small but can fit about 8 people and is a very relaxing experience. The staff were very nice and helpful with good tips for hiking and food in the area. The common areas! They were truly amazing with nice decor and good facilities, the kitchen well-stocked and two guest fridges. The main living room is spacious with plenty of seating and various board games to be played and a terrace! Overall it was an amazing stay and I didn’t not expect to meet such great people. The walk to the hostel from the station is not that bad! Just a steep incline for about 5 minutes other than that pretty easy if you just have a backpack.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at! It's a perfect balance between traditional and modern. The private room was nicely spacious with a lovely view, and it was useful having two sinks to ourselves. The facilities were all great and the common room was nice. The area itself is also decent, with a bus stop right outside to travel to the lake.
