Guests without a meal plan who want to eat dinner at the property must make a reservation at least 2 days in advance.Guests travelling with children are kindly requested to notify the property of the total number of children, the age of each child staying in the room and whether or not meals/extra bedding will be necessary at least 2 days before the date of arrival.Group booking guests with 2 or more booking confirmation numbers must notify the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.Modifications of bookings must be made at least 2 days prior to the date of arrival. If the number of guests checking in exceeds the number of guests indicated in the booking confirmation, additional fees may apply.During specific periods, guests can use the public hot-spring baths at neighboring Ichinoyu Group properties for free. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.There are many stairs and steep hills between the property and the closest Tonosawa Train Station, and there is no public transport from the station. The property recommends guests to use a taxi from Hakone Yumoto Station.Guests using a car navigation system are advised to use the map code: 0460-86-4000Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.

We had one of the onsen rooms and it was fabulous, very clean and new, exactly like shown in the pictures. The booked dinner was amazing as well, they were able to accommodate special wishes and it was a very luxurious experience.

We booked one night in a room with a private bath. The experience was fantastic. We were welcomed by friendly staff at the reception, who explained everything in detail. You can pick up a yukata that you can wear at all times in the ryokan. The room was spacious, with two futon beds and a 3-tatami space for lounging after a bath. The terrace with the bath was closed from others' view by a wooden fence but you could still see the greenery nad trees. The dinner was superb. We ordered an extra sashimi set and it was almost too much to eat in one sitting. The signature grilled sea bream was delicious beyond telling. You can walk to the ryokan from Hakone-Yumoto station - although the hill may be a bit steep for some and it may be very difficult with a large luggage.
