The room was a great size. The bed & pillows were comfy. We really enjoyed the library area with complimentary drinks, snacks & books to read & massage chairs. We also enjoyed the private & public onsens, plus the outdoor footbath area. Lots of different cosy areas to enjoy. Also close to train stations & great restaurants, open air museum & the craft house about 10 minutes walk up the hill was awesome. The staff were very polite & helpful.

Breakfast each day was lovely. Kids enjoyed the free drinks and snacks. Beautiful, peaceful location.

Great location, next to the open air art museum. The property was well designed, and the rooms were large and comfortable. I loved the free drinks and snacks in the communal areas.

Wonderful location, traditional ryokan type of experience with good facilities, wonderful public and private onsen, great environment at the end of the switch back railway. We loved this place.

Excellent location in Gora. The rooms we had were huge and serene. Half board was good for the family. It’s buffet breakfast and part buffet dinner (with an individually selected hot pot item). Of course teens love a buffet. We stayed two nights which was ideal in order to do the Hakone Loop and visit POLA museum.

Very easy flat walk from Gora station. Our rooms were very spacious. After a day of travelling it was lovely to enjoy some free snacks and drinks in the library lounge on arrival. Best buffet breakfast of our whole stay in Japan. Lots of options to suit everyone. Staff were fantastic. Walk to Hakone open air museum and an even shorter walk to the gyoza centre for dinner.

So close to Okubo station which is one stop away from Shinjuku. Offers the convenience but not the high human traffic. Host was responsive to everything in a timely manner and was extremely helpful.

Love the vibe of the place, luxurious and peaceful. Amenities was good with possibility of using a private bath, with good breakfast, and free drinks at night. We could wear a yukata which was really nice. Room was nice and bed comfy
