We liked the location, dinner, outdoor onsen, dyson hair dryer in the changing room, and Japanese style beds ( futon?) They stored our luggage before check ins and after check outs.

The location was a 10 minute walk from the train station (you have to negotiate the crowds). The rooms were large and the onsen was exceptional (WOW). It definitely felt like a Japanese hotel in an area where you feel the spirit of Japan. Customer service 10/10.

The view from the women’s spa was nice. It is somewhat traditional Japanese looking hotel which made the experience nice.

The place is convenient, less than 10 mins walk form Train station. Facilities and onsen are good, though its a bit old. Inclusion of dinner and breakfast are convenient.

The location of the accommodation is very close to the train station and has an incredible view of the river and the mountain. The private dining space was incredible as was the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and provided the menu in English. The common room is large and very calm, I hardly crossed paths with any other guests. The traditional Japanese room was large and very comfortable.

Great location. Easy flat walk from Hakone-Yumoto station. We were 5 friends sharing a room. We chose the 70sqm Family Room with private open air bath. It was perfect for a group. The public onsen was amazing. So many options for bathing - from a rock lined bath, to a large modern style bath, to individual tubs. Something for everyone. And the food - wow - so special. As was our lovely waitress - she was so sweet. Can’t fault anything.
