Very nice place! Rooms were comfortable and light, food was very good, especially breakfast. There's a cafe, games room and onsen on site.

This was a real retreat from the city and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. We left feeling recharged and at ease after just 1 night in this beautiful space. The room was a good size, with comfortable beds and a gorgeous view of the autumn foliage. The powerful speakers were an added bonus! The common areas were abundant for rest and relaxation, with board games and coloring sheets, snacks and beverages for all. The compound was so peaceful and quiet, it was such a dream. Meals were also delicious, we had both dinner and breakfast and everything was delicious. I was particularly impressed by the extensive and generous buffet breakfast spread.

I stayed at this property for 2 nights and it was at the end of a 3 week trip around Japan, so the quiet and remote location was perfect for me. The room was a good size and the public onsen was really nice after a big day of sightseeing. The rooms do need a refresh of paint, but otherwise the shower was good and handy to have the coffee/tea machine and fridge as well. I really loved the breakfast buffet, it was delicious. It is at least a 30-40min windy bus ride from the main area and then a fair up hill walk from the bus stop - which I didn't mind.

This retreat was truly magical. We enjoyed our stay here. The place was perfectly located to explore Hakone. The breakfast especially the eggs benedict was out of this world. The onsen was amazing and the staff was just so helpful and amazing!
