Amazing historic property lovingly looked after and kept modern while maintaining charm and history. In-house onsen, gardens, and setting all big bonuses.

The hotel is a beautiful historic building in a small village in Hakone. There is an Onsen, a few pools a small gym and a few restaurants. The cost of the restaurants was very high so we didn’t try any of those. There are good restaurants options in the area. The room was a good size and enough room for the 3 of us. The gardens are beautiful

It looks like the heritage building which combines history and culture, the garden and Mountain View are amazing. Breakfast is great.

Great hotel with a lot of history. A bit overpriced for what you get. Staff we generally great and helpful. No rooms have private onsens

we have stayed at the Fujiya since 1997 - about 30 times or more. as we get older we nearly always spend our wedding anniversary at the Fujiya for 2 days relaxation and ambiance.
