Some explanation with dinner about how to eat/ cook the food would be useful. I noticed other tables were given an extra plate and we weren't so my son contaminated his cooked meat and rice with raw meat resulting in him being sick in night. It was not clear to me from booking that our private bathroom did not contain a shower and that showers for 4 of us had to be combined into our one hour morning /;evening Onsen Slot which proved challenging when our teens wanted privacy.

The room was as shown on the pictures, breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff were very nice and polite, it was possible to book multiple slots for the different onsen. Had a very 90s vibe, we loved it

The property was easy to get to from the cable car. Staff was friendly. You were able to utilize the onsens privately with a choice of 3 multiple times during your stay. Room was clean and spacious. In room dinner was good. There was. Ropeway from the cable car (neat to learn about black eggs. There is a museum round the corner from this hotel. There is also another museum by the cable car and the open air museum is one stop back. Down by the station I slots of little souvenir shops. Lots of things to do in the area. I also enjoyed all the commentary and information from our trip up from Gora. Thank you to our hosts we will definitely come back.

The room was awesome. It was nice to have bed and futon options. We appreciate the free room upgrade; as well as being able to take up additional slots to try out all 3 different onsens. The onsens were lovely. The dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Traditional Japanese experience for the family, With onsen and traditional Japanese meals. Food was delicious and staff were so pleasant. Close to the Hakonetozan Cable Car line on the way to the Hakone Ropeway. Was able to get an early start and beat the queues.
