The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.A surcharge of ILS 100 applies for arrivals after check-in hours. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property. Good location in the German Colony, with a lot of restaurants and historic buildings, near the train station (Merkaz Ha Shmona), the Haifa Port and Bat Galim beach. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming, the hostel has a unique interior design, the rooms are simple and functional, shared toilets and showers were clean. I enjoyed it very much and will be happy to stay again.

It was close to the Bahá’í Gardens which I was visiting daily. The residents were very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed the people the staff the lovely veranda, the a/c, wifi, showers and toilets. The nearest store is 800 meters. Location is fantastic.

Five-minute walk from train station. Very friendly atmosphere. Decoration extremely tasteful and esthetic. Convenient arrangements for sharing refrigerator and laundry.

Centrally located and smiling helpful staff. The single room was native l basic but good value for money, with aircon and bathroom right outside.
