Liam “Wonderful hosts, peaceful and quiet location, THE place to stay in Cat Ba”

Perfectly located in the rural hillsides away from the noise and chaos of Cat Ba town. Though you’re not in the middle of town, they offer scooter rental at a very good rate- meaning you can easily access the town, the beaches and national park. This place is ideal if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful stay. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, they go above and beyond to cater for every guests wants and needs. They helped us book our travel arrangements for afterwards and readily gave a lot of advice about what to do in Cat Ba, what operators to use, how to get around etc - they are really kind and generous with their time and it makes for a very enriching experience. The rooms and overall site are designed tastefully and stylishly. It is THE place to stay in Cat Ba we believe - truly one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had.

Very beautiful hidden place! Cat ba is totally under construction and this place made it very beautifully. Staff was friendly and supportive. Especially Huy was a great personal in YEN. Super charming and helpful! We can definitely recommend. For a long stay these bungalows would have been to small for us. But for a short stay definitely worth to escape the loud constructions in the city. Breakfast was great and scooter rental was easy.

Generally I can see this being a 10 any other time, but there was some renovation (and the sounds that came with it) going on next door, which took a little away from the experience. But they did warn us beforehand, we still stayed. Absolutely amazing otherwise. Clean. Luxurious. Amazing quiet (usually) location. Great pool. Great bungalow. Nice views. Amazing staff, so beyond kind - would arrange everything you needed. We had a wonderful time.

We loved our stay in YEN hidden Valley. It’s a bit far from the city but once you are up there it’s peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The owner was helpful to book taxi for us everyday and helped us planed our trip! We will come back!

Since the seaside Cat Ba town is at the moment one big building site, I really recommend to stay in this hotel in the middle of nature. They can arrange transport to Cat Ba town and they also rent scooters.

We had a very enjoyable 4 days at YEN. Nestled between mountains, it was amazing to wake up with a breeze of fresh air among the crowing of the Hens. The staff was extremely helpful and catered to all our needs and remembered our peculiarities for breakfast! They helped with arranging everything from the taxi from the airport to the tours and so on. What was also great was that the place is in middle of nowhere so you are quite cut off from the civilisation.

The bungalows are really beautiful and modern. The location in the valley is amazing as well and the pool is very nice to relax at. We rented a scooter from the accommodation to discover the rest of the island, this can all be arranged by the owner who is really friendly and welcoming!

A stunning location! Ania was amazing and helped us with any questions we had. They even picked us up from our drop off point and brought us to the Valley. We booked a Lan Ha bay cruise with them which was great!
