Great facilities, nice large rooms with very comfortable beds. Lovely grounds. Large pool. Having 3 restaurants to choose from was really handy. The staff were very attentive and even prepared a cake for our anniversary.

The meals were excellent. There was good choice, and the chefs were very cooperative and made food as per your wish at the food stations. The buffet had good variety of local and Indian food as well. Beyond that the restaurant staff were so friendly and they made it feel that you are at home.

Good location for sightseeing, good size and comfortable room. Staff all very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Although breakfast and dinner are both buffets the food was good quality and good variety.

The property itself was attractive - the drive in to the property and the reception area. We had a problem with our room. The air conditioning never fell below 23 degrees and may not have been working at all. The room was stifling and there seemed to be no fresh air from the fan. We could not open the windows for fear of mosquitos and monkeys. We arrived quite late in the day and stayed only one night. We felt very tired, too tired to call for help from the engineers. After breakfast (which was only average) we packed and left the hotel. The overall experience was disappointing.

A brilliant resort with great accommodations, fantastic services and lots of nature. Despite the resort being large, we did not feel it as the bungalows are nestled in a forest/jungle, around a lake. Their staff is very attentive and accommodating, their food is great and the facilities we used (mostly the pool and laundry) were great. Food selection is huge and most items were delicious. We were positively surprised to see that prices for dining (especially in-villa dining), drinks and laundry are all very competitive for the area. We used this location as a hub to explore the area, e.g. Sigiriya Lion Rock, Anuradhapura and others. For this it was perfect.

Clean and comfortable accommodation, great buffet, welcoming staff to name a couple Waiter Sumith was friendly and very helpful. Also, waitress Kalpani had the most gorgeous smile always but hardly spoke...but a smile is worth a thousand words 😊
