Our host Aruna was fantastic; very welcoming, kind and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and full of traditional food and fresh fruit. The room was perfect and had everything we needed, including the balcony and outdoor jacuzzi pool. We loved the location and surrounding forest and the hotel is a great base to explore Sigiriya and other highlights. Hearing the monkeys on our treehouse roof and seeing lots of wildlife was an added bonus! Would thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful property and amazing staff. Excellent location close to Hurulu Eco Park and Minneriya National Park. Food was also delicious.

It was very clean and spacious. As we were traveling with the family, it was great to have both rooms interconnected. We liked the treehouse in the forest very much and it was a new experience for us.

My staying at Hornbill Forest Villas was a truly exceptional experience. This charming eco-friendly boutique hotel seamlessly combines luxury with sustainability, making it a standout choice for environmentally-conscious travelers. The elegant design features reclaimed wood, natural fabrics, and energy-efficient lighting. The lush, green surroundings with hornbills create a tranquil atmosphere that makes me feel at one with nature. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. The large windows not only offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape but also provide ample natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting. The staff are warm, welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Food was very delicious with authentic Sri Lankan touch.

Superbly facility located in a calm and secluded area with very easy access to the Habarana town and amnesties. Easily reachable through very good road especially when it is a short trip.
