A great little apartment right in the heart of Haarlem. Could not be in a nicer area. Nicely decorated, well equipped kitchenette and super comfy bed. Excellent value for money when compared to other accommodation options in the area. Would stay again in a heart beat. Would be good to have body wash and shampoo in the bathroom

We rented 2 connecting rooms. Light and clean rooms, plus very functional, but there were a lot of doors that led to other little rooms to explore which led you to different parts of the house, What i found weird was that the linen for beds incl towels etc for the whole apartment building were displayed in the main kitchen/foyer area. Massive trolley's just sat there. And what was even weirder, is that we weren't allowed to use that kitchen, even though we had a lot of pots and pans in our little kitchen inside our room. There were no instructions on what to do with the rubbish, the only note I found in the room is to please re-use our towels and hang them up so staff know we want to reuse. However, no staff ever came into our room to check on towels. Also the aircon didn't work in 1 of the rooms. I did alert them to that, but they thought I didn't know how to use the on button. I hate complaining so i responded saying that it's no big deal, but for the money I am paying that should have been given some attention. We also weren't given simple things like a tea towel to dry dishes and a nice cleaning cloth to wipe down our little in room kitchen area.

Location is superb, on a couple of hundred metres from the Grotemarkt, and right next to a bar called Cafe Stiels. Getting there by public transport is easy and the place is very comfortable. The shower wasn't warming up on our first day so we messaged the host and they had someone out and fixing it within a couple of hours. Very helpful and receptive.

Great location and lovely flat - really good bones. The bedroom is on the basement which means its quiet and dark (no windows). The flat is lacking in amenities / tlc.
