Couldn't recommend the trip more, the best activity I did during my entire trip through SE Asia! The trip was very well organised, lovely amazing team running the whole trip. The hostels we stayed in were great and the food was always amazing! Even the veg :) Every evening was filled with laughter and fun drinks with the drivers! It was a very authentic experience, I enjoyed every day. I wish I could have done more than 4 days. I chose the self drive option and ended up making it. The trip was challenging and not for the faint hearted, I would only recommend if you are really confident! There were also a lot of police checkpoints but the team helped me get through them!

Perfect stay if you're planning to do the Ha Giang Loop. The room is nice and very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Comfortable stay. Equipped to help you start the Ha Giang loop. Rent bikes etc and book buses etc. Comfortable bed and good shower in private room. Breakfast was made available for us slightly early to allow us to make our bus on time - much appreciated. Friendly & helpful staff.

Friendly staff, comfortable room and facilities. Decent breakfast. We were able to leave our main luggage here when we went on the Ha Giang loop. Recommend for stop over if doing the loop.

Really nice accomodation. On a quiet side street at the start of town not too far from where the buses pull in. Ha Giang is not a pretty town by any means so it was good to be on a small street. I had a large room on the third floor (no lift/elevator) that was a hotel quality room with a big en-suite bathroom. Very clean. There were some new-looking doubles w. en-suite on the forth floor but they were full. Other rooms had shared bathrooms but they looked good from what I saw. A nice common area, a pool table and a small swimming pool. Very social place where people are happy to tell you about their experiences on the Loop so very good for getting information before setting off. I had travelled from Hanoi on a bike and didn't rent from Odyssey but the staff were still happy to offer me advice, give me a map, explain routes and sights and were so helpful. Their semi-automatic bikes looked brand new. They give lessons on the street to novice riders and offer easy rider and go-it alone tours. I stayed 2 nights and in the late afternoon people were coming back from tours of the loop, getting their bags and were able to have a shower and change of clothes and a meal before getting the night bus. Very impressive. Good breakfast selection too including granola/yoghurt/fruit which was welcome after too many other places that only offer pancakes or omelettes, (both of which are usually like frizbees). Very professionally run with staff that can speak English really well. I think they had a French speaker too. Thoroughly recommended.

We booked a night at the Odyssey Hostel in anticipating of the start of our Ha Giang Loop tour but apparently our tour guide from the Ha Giang Loop Tour organised for us to sleep at another hotel so we didn’t end up going to Odyssey. I contacted the staff about the mix up when we arrived at Ha Giang and they were so kind and flexible about it ☺️ The staff also contacted me before arrival to ask if i needed some information about the Ha Giang Loop Tour etc. I liked the communication with this Hostel 👍🏻

We stayed in bungalow on the top floor of hostel. It was very modern room with nice bathroom. Staff was very helpful and gave us many tips about Ha Giang Loop.

The owner and staff are so friendly and help organize everything including our journey to and from Ha Giang, gave us tips for the loop and a well maintained motorbike. They also offer food and drinks and breakfast. All the equipment you need is includes in the prices. All info and prices for motorbikes, tours etc is well presented and easy to understand. No matter what issue came up, the owner helps immediately through WhatsApp and her English is very good.
