So wonderful place and the hosts so nice. They cooked delicious breakfast every morning, warming welcome and make everything to fell comfortable. Awesome!

The hosts made this stay so special. From the moment we booked, they sent a list of how to get to Gyeongju easily from different locations and what we could do in there. On arrival the hosts told us a little bit about their accommodation and gave us some suggestions of what to do that night. Their suggestions were great! The accommodation is in the best location. There is so much to do within walking distance and there are restaurants and street foods right outside the door. Breakfast was made each day by the host and it was a delicious traditional Korean breakfast of Bibimbap and other things. You will not go hungry! There was a lot of food. The room we booked was small but had everything we needed. It is a traditional Korean style but modernised facilities like the bathroom inside the rooms. The beds are traditional Korean floor mattresses which was fine for us to sleep on (felt good for my back but my hip started to be uncomfortable after night 2) so might be something to consider if you have issues getting up off the ground or back/hip issues. The hosts also helped us with laundry and as we had some waiting time after checkout, we were invited into the hosts house and he showed us some traditional Korean instruments and we had a go at playing some. It was fun! I would highly recommend staying here and if we are ever back in this area I would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful experience and fabulous hosts! We loved every minute of this beautiful traditional hanok stay. Perfectly located within walking distance to all the main city’s attractions and definitely our favourite accommodation experience of our trip to South Korea. The breakfast was amazing and restaurant standard, the helpfulness and kindness of the hosts incredible, and the room and the facilities a wonderful architectural gem to return to at the end of each touring day. Don’t hesitate to book! P.S. We did have some very inconsiderate room guests who stayed in the room next to us and continued to laugh loudly till 1am on our first night. They had the audacity to be angry with us the next morning for being unhappy with their noise levels (despite my attempts to knock on their door during the night which they ignored). They also blamed the hosts for the thinness of the walls but it is a traditional hanok and not a modern concrete hotel! What did they expect! They were a young couple with no regard for common courtesies so certainly no fault of the accommodation. We had a normal guest the next night so had an amazing night’s sleep!

Mr. and Mrs. Kim were very polite, helpful and funny. The rooms are very comfortable and even im winter warm! The Wifi is good. Mrs. Kim made us a traditional Korean breakfast! It was very delicious. Mr. Kim gave us advises what to do.

beautiful hanokinn is located centrally within walking- (or cycling) distance of many historical sights. the owners are a charming couple who will go out of their way to make you feel at home. from home-cooked korean breakfast (enough to keep you going until dinner) to korean music, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! we can warmly recommend this wonderful place!

Very authentic Hanoi stay experience. The room was beautifully decorated with floor heating making for a comfortable sleep. Lovely friendly and helpful hosts. A full Korean breakfast was cooked by host and enjoyed in the dining room with other guests.

The stay was amazing. The room was small but because we were on the upper level we had a great view across the area and it was super cozy. The floor heating made the the nights warm and we also had a private bathroom. The owners of the hanok were lovely and spoke really good english which we appreciated. Breakfast was also good and very filling. The location was perfect for seeing the burial mounds and navigating the surrounding areas.
