Beautiful room in great location in Gundagai with lots of nice touches. Destination charger for electric cars was a nice surprise (although v slow)

Loved the rustic nature of the property, fantastic air conditioning and the adventure to drive across the property to the cottage. Staying amongst the cattle and how peaceful the property was. Beautiful linen and comfy couches.

We were looking for an overnight stop for our trip home from Melbourne to Sydney but wanted to end our road trip on a high - Windies Cottage met that brief, helping us show our teenage son what real stars & amazing sunrises look like in the country!

We loved everything about our stay. The views are incredible, it’s perfect to switch off and enjoy the area. The check in and out was easy and there was plenty of information before arriving. The hut had everything we needed.

Windies Cottage was very cosy and lovely. It was a great place to rest and recover from the daily grind. The cosy bedrooms and living area and animals were the highlight of our stay. We were able to easily contact staff after hours for support during check in to the cottage

The views were beautiful from all sides, even the shower! The hut is perfectly designed and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The hut and hot tub were so clean. Thanks for the clear instructions on getting there and using the hut. We had such a lovely stay.

It is just very different. The Cottage is old, bit run down but in the middle of a farm, it was different and fun, surrounded by sheep, fire going, everything we really needed. Is what it is - what it isn't is a "vanilla" hotel in the heart of town that is boring

We arrived at night and sat out amongst the stars, to wake up to the most amazing views of fields, sheep and little else. A gorgeous property that exudes history, yet has all the amenities.
