Please note that the Tropic Tree Hotel Maldives is located on the charming island of Gulhi, south Male Atoll.There are two dedicated bikini beaches in Gulhi where visitors can wear bikini or similar swimwear. In local inhabited islands, the government regulations require that visitors or locals do not wear bikini or similar swimwear while in the public areas.Please note the following information regarding transfer/journey from Male International Airport to Tropic Tree Hotel Maldives at Gulhi Island.Please share your flight details with the property at least 3 days before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer.

Ferryboat takes around 80 minutes to reach Gulhi Island
Ferryboat departs from Villingili Ferry Terminal (MTCC terminal) in Malé at 15:00
Return ferry departs from Gulhi Island at 08:00
If your flight lands after 13:00, you miss the ferryboat, or you arrive on Fridays, you may wish to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to spend the night in Malé.

The staff is great, and we highly recommend joining the excursions they offer. We especially enjoyed the full-day trip and the sunset fishing, which ended with a lovely barbecue. It was a pleasant stay for a couple of days.

An Unforgettable Experience in Paradise My stay at this hotel was simply spectacular. From the very first moment, the staff was incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything I needed. The location on the island is perfect, allowing you to enjoy breathtaking landscapes and absolute tranquility. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options, and the WiFi worked perfectly, which was a big plus. The room was super comfortable, ideal for resting after a day of exploring. What truly made my experience even more special was that, for my birthday, the hotel staff surprised me with an amazing cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture that reflects the warmth and attention to detail of the team. Without a doubt, I will be coming back and highly recommend this place. Thank you for making my trip unforgettable!

Location is ok. Room and bathrooms fine. Staff good, friendly. Breakfast also good. Get juice, cofee, fruits, sausages, beans, eggs. Good view to the ocean

The guys working there are extremely friendly and helpful, able to book day trips and travel, as well as take care of any of our other requests, including laundry. The rooms are well kept, clean and looked after. Beds are comfy, bathroom is clean and has hot water, and the Wifi is good too.
