Please note that the hotel is situated on a pedestrian street and the car parking is 150 metres from the hotel, by foot, next to the Guimarães City Hall, in Rua do Condestável Nuno Álvares Pereira, a dead-end street parallel to the City Hall of Guimarães. Please inform security that you are accommodated at the Hotel da Oliveira.Please note that parking costs 5 EUR per stay and payment is made at check-out.Please note that traffic may be conditioned and there may be noise disturbances in the following dates:
- First Monday of August, Gualterianas Parties - Traffic is conditioned from 20:00 until 01:00.
- November 29, Pinheiro - Students traditional Festival - High probability of noise disturbances during the night.Please note that drinks are not included in lunch and dinner prices.When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Couldn't have chosen a better location. Right near the historic center. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff was great. Highly professional. The room was a little smaller than I imagined from the photo's, but very nice and comfy. Also didn't hear any noisy neighbours so that was great. Also the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very good bed, good mattress and high quality bedding. Perfect spot in the centre of town - the best place to be, we think. Quiet and calm at night due to soundproof windows (which can be opened). Very friendly and authentic staff. Nice decoration everywhere (books in all forms). Good breakfast with fresh fruit and omelets. Dinner was somewhat pricey, but it’s recommended by Guide Michelin and for the effort and specialties it is ok. The wine was affordable. We would happily book again here!

excellent location in historic place and nice modern interior nicely integrated in historic house . you don t expect that from the outside which is nice as well but very different - really well done. enjoyed specifically service and cleanness. special thanks to the receptionist which guided me to the great parking spot - very comfortable , secured 100m away from the hotel 👍 and many hotels can learn that you should not charge a second room while offering a parking spot ….

This was our third visit and it is has again been a marvelous experience. The location in the heart of the city, the coziness and comfort of the rooms, bed etc. Excellent! Will surely be back.
