The accommodation is beautiful. The room and other facilities are lovely. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. They helped me to organise some of my tourist activities, including a Li River Cruise, Mount Ruyi Cable Car, and a driver for a day. Their suggestions were all very worthwhile. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. The location is fantastic, being an easy walk from some of the very beautiful parts of town.

Very well located, quiet yet interesting with good views of the lake and the surrounding areas. Close proximity to eateries and other interesting sites. Excellent service from friendly staff (special thanks to Rose, Ida and Zhu ge)

This is a handsome hotel right by the lake, surrounded by magnificent trees. The staff are very hospitable and efficient. All the art - paintings and sculptures - give the hotel added grace and charm. The restaurant has a beautiful view. The bedrooms are large and comfortable.

Our room was gorgeous overlooking the lake. Great comfy beds and nice tea available in the room. The receptionist spoke English - very rare during our trip in China. She have us some great recommendations. We even got a little goodbye gift when we left. Totally recommended!

Great boutique hotel overlooking the lake. Our family apartment was spacious and with a great view. Very friendly staff. We stayed twice in a week and didn't regret it.

The location of the property is fantastic - immediately across from Rong lake. The rooms are beautifully set up, with a small sitting area for relaxing and tea by the window. Breakfast and breakfast room were lovely, and the new restaurant service in the evening was excellent. Staff could not be more helpful. The art throughout the hotel, I think evidence of the buildings past, was a pleasure.

Location was lovely, literally right next to the lake. Staff were friendly, in particular Zhuge, who was so helpful and just a bundle of joy. Restraunt was beautiful looking over the lake, and the food we had there was excellent. The hotel itself was so well decorated with artefacts from its former life as a museum.
