We liked everything about the place. It's peaceful and clean. We got a warm welcome from a lady by the name California. There was also a gentleman who assisted us with the places worth visiting and we are grateful for that.

We stayed for two nights and we were so pleased by the comfort of the tent! We like the place's philosophy as well being eco friendly and doing so much for the bigger picture! We will definitely be back! Thanks again for everything.

We had a wonderful stay at Shik Shack. The tent was clean and very cozy, kitchen is very well equipped (unusual for a backpackers), the Orpen Gate to the Kruger Park is just a few minutes away, shops are just 15 minutes away. Staff is very friendly, overall we had a lovely stay and would have liked to stay longer!
