Only stayed for 1 night in shared apartment. Everything was very clean and the owner was super kind and friendly. Asked for oil to cook with and he went to the store and got some! Lots of historical buildings in the area to explore and felt safe. Excellent price for the space you get!

We stayed at the Loft Apartment. Great big rooms with big bathroom. Very close to all points of interest and the supermarket. Comfortable bed, good night sleep - it was quiet during the night. Good shower and kitchen equipped with coffee machine and pots and crockery to cook meals. Fast internet. The owner and the staff were outstanding, very helpful and friendly. We had a good stay.

The hospitality alone deserves 10 stars, Tony and Roger were so so friendly and helpful, I cannot recommend them enough, I would say this is the best place to go for your first stop especially if you don’t speak very good Spanish, they took their time to give me recommendations not just for Guatemala City, but the whole country, they helped me arrange a SIM card which was difficult not being able to speak Spanish so I am very grateful. I had a good nights sleep here after a long journey, I stayed in the apartment and it was clean with everything you need.

I got a private room that had a kitdhen (which I did not use though) The staff spoke English really well, was warm and welcoming, and super helpful with information. It was easy to check-in and check-out. The facilities are clean and basic (all you need).

The hostel has private rooms on the second floor while the third is a shared floor with a few different dorm rooms and exceptional common living space. I stayed in one of the lofts for the kitchen and privacy, but next time I come I'll stay in one of these dorms. Everything else about this hostel and it's staff makes it a great place to stay.
