Absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we got there and met Valery to leaving, it was great! Firstly and maybe most importantly is what a host Valery is! We spent quite a lot of time talking to her when we checked in and on another occasion, and she was just lovely! The apartment is so homely, with all the little thoughtful touches that really enhances your stay! There is a book with so much information about Guatape and where to eat, which was very useful! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The restaurant downstairs really hits the spot if you're craving Asian food (The sushi is yum)! We really regretted that we cut our time in Guatape, and honestly, a lot of it was because we wanted more time at Casa Dodo! If you are considering staying here, BOOK already, and you will be so happy for it!

This property is very clean, beautiful and filled with very new appliancesz I love the location and also the great breakfast provided by the awesome owners who were always very kind and attentive to the needs of the visitors. We appreciate the kindness of the owner.

Valery was so welcoming. She even had candles for us so we could join a Christmas week celebration. So thoughtful.The flat is roomy, immaculate, clean, great showers, well equipped, comfortable bed, quality fittings. The breakfasts were exceptional. The bruschetta with eggs, avocado and tomatoes was so tasty plus fruit, granola and delicious hot chocolate. There is a large washing machine and tumbler drier which we used. The flat is very close to an Asian restaurant. The food was so good there . We got 10% off and they delivered it to the apartment which made for a relaxing night. The waterfront is 30 seconds walk away from the water. Valery had lots of advice for us which was useful and organised a taxi for us to return to the airport. This was the best place we stayed in our entire trip. It was perfect.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment! The space was beautifully decorated, making it feel cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish retreat. Can't wait to come back!

Decor & attention to detail was excellent! Valery, originally from Mauritius 🤩 & with an extensive travel resume; greeted us on our arrival & we chatted for some time & she gave us advice about our stay in Guatapè & orientated us to the unit. It has a little closed in balcony ( no view ) but nice for some fresh air, a lovely well appointed kitchen with chilled drinks bar for sale. There is beautiful plunger coffee included ( or herbal teas). Bedroom had a well-appointed ensuite ( shampoo/ conditioner), elegant lighting with beautiful international artefacts. Valery also was available for help via whatsapp at all times! Great breakfast included but use the coffee from the appartment as it is delish! Also a lovely little shop in the foyer with artefacts & groovy cotton dresses ( I bought 2). PLUS a great front loading washing machine & dryer. Detergent supplied!

Modern,well thought out 2 beds 2 baths & living room with view of lake (when the water level rises !)& within minutes of town.Lovely host from South Africa who couldn’t be nicer or more helpful.
