Beautiful location, good for horse riding if you want trail rides/hacking and book in advance. Interesting tour of the castle and education on it's history from the owners. Co vertex farmhouse accommodation was comfortable and character filled.

Fabulous stay, everything was as described, all the staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fab, continental as stated, with lots of options including cereal, mini croissants, choice of sliced or fresh bread, fruit , yoghurt, boiled eggs, cheese and meat, also choice of coffee and fruit juices. Not sure what other people think should be offered in addition, there was even amazing cake. 😊 Horse riding was lovely too. Gin was really good and always took time to make sure we knew what was happening and the type of trail and kept us safe. The horses were fast for experienced riders and impeccably behaved for those who are beginners. Lots of places to visit for day or half day visits. The owners are also very welcoming and have worked hard to make this place so good as do the staff. We will definitely want to come back.
