We had an amazing stay! It was hard to leave. We enjoyed the conversations with their friends. The owners are very friendly, don’t hesitate to go their. She is an amazing cook! And the breakfast was delicious with self made bread and more than 6 different homemade marmalade! Fresh fruit (papaya and watermelon) from their garden and organic cheese from neighbours/farmers… We could even buy some products so we enjoyed the bread, goose berry jam and papaya in Etosha!

Great value for money. Ulf and Usia are very hospitable. Very close to the meteorite, and Ulf organized for us to visit the museum. Enjoyed their food too, especially the spaghetti and meatballs balls!!

We were driving from Katima Mulilo to Swakopmund for a family holiday. Grootfontein was the ideal option to have a stopover and have some rest before proceeding to Swakopmund the next morning. We found The Farm Shop on Booking.com, and we're extremely happy the way we were received by the host, Mr. Ulf. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings. He recommended that we visit the Hoba meteorite, which was about 15 km from the Farm Shop. It won't be an exgerration to say that Mr. Ulf is an excellent cook and serves very yummy breakfasts and dinners! Everything was so perfect that I wish to drive e back to Swakopmund once again so I can stay at the Farm Sop again.

Our host went above and beyond! Not only did they provide a comfortable stay, but they also treated us to a wonderful dinner. The meal was delicious, and their hospitality made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.
