I might be a bit biased in my review since we were alone in the whole place but honestly we really enjoyed it. The staff took good care of us and always had breakfast prepared (the breakfast was really good) and the room was very pleasant and fun. The staff kept the place clean.

The hotel rooms are apparently located in the neighborhood in ordinary apartments near the reception. The apartment I was in had four rooms, a kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom. The room suited my needs well. The kitchen was suitably equipped and the neighborhood was quiet.

Getting the key from Simplon outside regular hours was very convenient. The bed was nice, the room had enough space.

All around a good night's sleep (for "my destination" Delfzijl @ DelfSail 2024 - discovered the place this way). Not far from Groningen Noord train station - from the center of Groningen too. For me, a coherent and quite inexpensive concept. Simple, yet individual room (Hawaii) in the neighborhood, kitchen next door a plus. Enjoyed breakfast at the large table with nice conversations (round the corner). Lunchbox for early departure appreciated. Very friendly staff. Would happily come again.
