This is an excellent hotel with helpful and pleasant staff. My only comment is that during our stay they appeared to be short staffed…..breakfast took 45 minutes from ordering to arrival on our last morning. The food, particularly evening meal, is first rate.

Great hotel excellent location let down badly by a lack of staff which meant very long waiting time for food ecpecially at breakfast Very little interaction between staff at breakfast and guests due to lack of time The staff were having to serve guests in the restaurant as well as giving room service….. two members off staff were clearly not enough to cope with the workload

What a fantastic place to stay! The customer service was amazing. We had dinner there, and the menu offered such a wonderful variety to choose from. Overall, a lovely experience!

Stylish boutique hotel. The service and welcome were lovely. Interior decor in our room was very stylishly done. We had an evening meal and breakfast and couldn't fault any of it. Can't wait to return.

The staff are so welcoming and you feel like you are really at home. The food and drink is superb, served at the correct temperature, very tasty and presented beautifully. The room was splendid with a stunning view of the valley and the bed and facilities were top rate. We had walked from Bakewell and no one made mention of our rather bedraggled state when we arrived (even the pheasant feather in my hair) but showed us to our room as if we were VIP guests. Wonderful stay .
