Hotel Overview

This small chalet hotel is located in the centre of Grindelwald, 350 metres from the train station and the First cable car. Wi-Fi and parking are available free of charge.
The quiet, south-facing rooms at the Tschuggen offer views of the North Wall of the Eiger and the mountain panorama. All rooms are non-smoking, and some rooms have a balcony.
The Tschuggen features a bicycle and ski storage room. A traditional Swiss breakfast buffet is served each morning. Dinner is available in the hotel opposite the Tschuggen.
Guests of the Tschuggen enjoy a 50% discount on the admission to the indoor pool and ice rink at Grindelwald’s sports centre (200 metres away).

I stayed in a family room which is big and clean. My family is very satisfied and enjoyed staying in the hotel. The location is good and convenient. I very recommended for stay in the hotel. 👍

Amazing view from the room, I would definitely recommend booking a room with a mountain view. Rooms were a little basic but it felt very traditional and it was so relaxing.

Property was fine. Staff were fine. As modest Muslim women we did get a couple of awkward looks esp around breakfast but I guess they weren’t use to seeing Muslim women?

Wonderful location right in the Main Street in Grindelwald. 5 mins walk to cable great. Staff were very kind and helpful. Great breakfast each morning
