Excellent location right next to the Grindelwald train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money, offers the basic necessities at a cheap price.

This hotel is a great family run hotel and is excellent value for money in Grindelwald. Peter is a great host who speaks fluent English and went the extra mile for us. He lent us a Swiss plug, gave us a kettle and mugs for the room, served us coffee every morning at breakfast and kept our bags the whole day for us on check out. The room is a large, the beds comfortable and the hot water pressure in the shower was amazing! The room is cleaned every day and the breakfast was great with an amazing view. It is a quick walk from the station and easy walk to the supermarket, Grindewald First and Terminal. The hotel is listed as 2 star but if you are after clean, basic, convenient, friendly and value for money then definitely stay here. We would definitely book again for the price we paid for 5 nights!!

Extremely central position, in front of the main railway station. The owner, Mr. Läubin, is very kind and helpful and so all the staff. Rooms are warm, very clean and comfortable and breakfast excellent, with a large number of choices and wonderful swiss cheeses. Simply perfect!

We loved the location six days there to explore everything room was comfortable and clean made up each morning breakfast was good and staff were friendly I always read reviews and they were good and that’s how I found it as well very easy to get around 🙂👍

Location superb - close to train station and town centre. Lovely view of the Eiger from our Balcony. Appreciated the morning breakfast which was included - it fuelled us up for the days trekking!

The location is exceptional. It is about 100m from the main rail station so very convenient if travelling by train. Our room must have had one of the best views in Grindelwald - our balcony had an uninterrupted view over the lower areas of the town with the Eiger N face as a backdrop - superb! The hotel is very well appointed and kept spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful;. Breakfasts are excellent. The hotel is rated 2 star but I would argue that this rating is unfair.
