Mbizi lodge is a nice lodge in Grietjie Reserve. The lodges are nice, they have only 4 lodges on the property. They are a short walk from the main area. Good facilities in the room, a little fridge and coffee and tea facilities. In the main area is the dining room and the swimming pool. You can take drinks from the honesty bar. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price. Breakfast is served in two courses (yoghurt and fruits, egss and toast). Dinner is a three course dinner, which was very good. Gamedrives are not included in the price, you can choose to attend them in the morning and afternoon, it costs ZAR 400 pp per gamedrive. The gamedrives were nice, but the driver needs to stay on the road, so they can't go to animals if they are further from the road. In other reserves we experienced this differently.

During the rainy season, everything is green and beautiful. Diverse fauna. Elephants are coming very close. You are close to nature. Rooms are well equipped with air conditioning and more.

Close to nature, the rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. The staff is gorgeous and dedicated. The elephants came very close, so the experience was absolutely wonderful.

teh rooms were really comfortable with great bedding, air con and a fan. they were very well serviced by friendly staff. the giraffes and impala on our doorstep was great. food was fabulous including a fantastic real indian curry. sightings at the waterhole were great. owners very friendly and informative with a lot of knowedge about the animals
