Friendly staff and locals, had a great night and a decent meal. Got a heads up from a former resident on the best shower, he was spot on! I reckon I'll stay at the Railway Hotel again, its budget accommodation with a regular persons pub downstairs, ticket all my boxes.

Its budget accomodation so don't expect too much. The building is old and somewhat run down, but I found the rooms to be quiet, heaters were provided so the room was warm, it was aged but clean, and the wifi was good.
