Castello Vicchiomaggio is a historic castle dating back to the 1400s. Just outside Greve, it produces and sells its own Chianti wine. It also features a swimming pool with views across Val di Greve valley.
Rooms have an elegant and classic style with terracotta floors and wooden furniture. They all come with a sofa and a satellite TV. The private bathrooms are equipped with shower and toiletries.
A buffet breakfast is available every morning. The restaurant serves traditional Tuscan cuisine in a Renaissance-style dining room with arched ceilings.

It was the perfect way to end our three week stay in Italy, we came here for two nights after our wedding and we enjoyed every moment. Having been here before for lunch we were very excited to stay and enjoy the facilities. Both nights we ate in the amazing restaurant, staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly and the pool is beautiful. Greve is just next door so we were able to make some time for the amazing wine festival that happened at the same time we happened to be there.

The view from the infinity pool was breathtaking. A beautiful location. Lunch was also wonderful and friendly server. Our room was clean and spacious. The honesty box was a wonderful touch- you can take what you like and pay at check out. Wine is priced at the same price everywhere around the property. The rose is AMAZING!

- breathtaking views, spectacular surroundings - breakfast is really good, although I had worries at the beginning of the trip - omelette, bacon, different sorts of sausages (mortadella, salami, prosciutto), cheese, pastries, yogurt, nuts, fruit, crunches, etc. - room and facilities - spacious room located in the additional building. Mini fridge is in the apartment. Iron can be found in the common area. - sunbeds, chairs with tables outside, so that you can have tea / coffee or just rest with the view - Wine tasting: interesting experience, we took Gold Wine Tour, that included visiting of vineyards, cellar and tasting of 4 wines and olive oil with bread.

Exceptional property, great wine, great staff. Pool and views from around the property were amazing. Room was massive. Staff were dropped us down to the bus stop on a couple of occasions and helped with anything you needed. Food at restaurant was great. 10/10 stay

It was a real treat to stay here. Grand and impressive buildings, but unpretentious. Wonderful views and ambience. Spectacular pool. Lovely owner and family, all staff were excellent. Informative vineyard tour and wine tasting with memorable dinner - definitely worth booking.

Hill top location with commanding views. Superb infinity pool overlooking a huge area. Excellent breakfast with wide selection of foods and very good coffee. Well maintained attractive gardens. Very friendly staff. Clean, attractive rooms with comfortable beds.
