The breakfast each morning was perfect, with a buffet offering fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, cheeses, sparkling wine, fruit juices, and a variety of teas and coffee. Freshly made eggs were also available to order. I loved that the lobby had a good coffee machine available to use anytime. The pool area was clean and functional, making it a great spot to relax.

Das Eckert - Lifestyle Design Hotel & Fine Dining bei Basel is truly one of the best places we have stayed. The staff was exceptional, providing warm and attentive service throughout our stay. The facilities are excellent, including comfortable rooms, ample parking, a very good breakfast, and a convenient laundry service. Communication with the hotel staff was smooth and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The hotel also features a nice pool area, perfect for kids to enjoy. Its strategic location is ideal for travelers who wish to explore the border regions of Germany, Switzerland, and France, making it a great base for a multi-country trip.

Three EV chargers on the property - although sometimes blocked by cars that aren’t (capable of) charging. Next to both bus and train lines that bring you directly into Basel.

The room was really big; perfect for a family of 4. The bed was really comfortable and it was great that the sofa bed was changed into two single beds for the kids.
