Joe came to meet us at the cottage at 3 am after our ferry was delayed! He could not have been kinder or more helpful. He had put a Christmas tree up for us, left us tea, coffee and biscuits and came to tell us we did not have to rush to leave at the end of our holiday.

The location was opposite a castle brilliant, views were exceptional overlooking lough foyle in Donegal could not have been better. If you want to travel into Northern Ireland their is a local ferry within walking distance.

This is a wonderful location, walking distance to the village. There is a bar and restaurant only two minutes walk from the front door. The view is lovely. There is a well-equipped kitchen and it can sleep up to nine if one is in a baby cot. Which makes it good value for large groups. The sofas are very comfortable and an excellent choice for a holiday rental. You could walk to the ferry crossing and go to a superb beach on the other side.
