Solo leisure 5 nights but ended up spending 4 due to work. Stayed non holiday period, so no guests, and they kindly upgraded my accommodation at their discretion. Alistair and Sharon are lovely hosts, always happy to point you in the direction of nice spots to visit. Recommend for solo and non solo travellers. Also this is my 2nd second time staying at Chequers x

The lady and gentleman were very helpful and cooked a nice breakfast. Room spotless, TV had ALL the channels, and the location was excellent near the seafront and the town. Lots of friendly local pubs nearby. What more can I say?

Lovely place, we really enjoyed our overnight stay, our rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. The breakfast was really good. Coffee was lovely. The owners are so helpful and very informative and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
