Location of the hotel was great for town centre and nearby hills. The restaurant was excellent - highly recommended. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff were warm and welcoming, the room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. Dinner was outstanding, and the evening was perfectly rounded off by a drink by the fireside in the residents' lounge.
