The fine print
In order to get to the property from Yeppoon, you can catch the Freedom Fast Cat Ferry from Rosslyn Bay Harbour to Great Keppel Island and then it is just a 5-minute walk along the beach to Great Keppel Island Holiday Village.Please note that towels are not included in the price. You can rent towels for AUD $5 or bring your own.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Our stay at Great Keppel Island Holiday Village was absolutely amazing and exceeded all our expectations! The managers, Jeppe and Anthony, were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we felt welcome every step of the way. Their team of volunteers was also wonderful—friendly, approachable, and full of good energy. We were impressed by how clean and organized everything was. The team was constantly ensuring the facilities were spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. On top of that, we loved having access to the snorkeling gear—it added an extra layer of fun to our experience. We were invited to join yoga classes, share meals, go to the beach in their cars, and so much more. It truly felt like being part of a little community rather than just a guest. We made friendships with the volunteers and shared beautiful moments together. The level of care and hospitality from the entire team was exceptional, and we left with nothing but gratitude. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Without a doubt, I’ll be recommending this place to everyone. Thank you for such a magical experience!

Location is great, easy to walk to dinner & little shops, not a very long walk from the ferry. The host picked up all our bags in the ute and took them to accommodation. Camp Kitchen is well equipped.

We stayed in a glamping tent, and the whole experience was a bit like staying in an outdoor youth hostel. The location is very good and the grounds are beautiful, lots of trees and birds, easy access to restaurants. The hosts are exceptional. The atmosphere is very friendly and casual.

Very relaxed and friendly budget resort on Great Keppel Island. We stayed in one of the onsite 'eco glamping' (my term not theirs) tents and it was fantastic. Anthony and Jappa (pronounced Yappa) were both very nice guys, nothing was too much trouble, lots of helpful suggestions. Free snorkeling gear for the length of your stay and lots of info. Good communal kitchen facilities, with ample fridge and freezer space. Adequate toilet and bathroom facilities. Although these facilities are older they are kept extremely clean and were a pleasure to use. Located a very short walk to the main resort entertainment hub of the island.

The island blew our minds. Beaches were out of this world. Very relaxed atmosphere 😌 we booked with intentions of trying something new to us so we Shared the kitchen and shared toilet with shower facilities this was a first for our family and it was an experience , very chilled vibe though . Room was clean beds comfy couldn't complain. Lazy days lovely. Very quiet and Lovely staff very helpful . Will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Outstanding place to stay. The communication from Yabba and Anthony before we even go their was great, organised to pick us up on the beach with all of our belongings, as was the same when we were departing. A real door to door service! The location of the resort was great, a short couple minute stroll to the closest beach, even closer to the bar and bistro on the island for happy hour cocktails. The Holiday Village had absolutely everything you could require, the only thing you need to bring are your own food and alcohol. A plethora of Pots, Pans, Cutlery, Rice cookers, Toastie makers. Everything you could need. In addition to this they have snorkeling gear and wet suits amongst other stuff to use. Will definitely be back, would recommend spending at least 2 nights there as there is so much to see and do! Will definitely be back!

What a great place to retreat and enjoy the most pristine views, beaches and snorkeling. The place is so conveniently located, the managers are simply delightful and the amenities are great value for money. Really care about the environment which was appreciated. Bushwalking from beach to beach was a huge highlight. Make sure to prepare accordingly as the walking tracks are a little confusing and very rocky and steep hills. Bring plenty of water! I really hope the island remains protected.

Jeppe & Anthony are diamonds, lovely people and know exactly how to accommodate guests, always going above and beyond. The place itself is beautiful, it's in the perfect area right next to the beach and the Hideaway restaurant. Also, they have snacks/drinks you can buy via an honesty box (loved the trust at this place) . Also, you can rent a lot of equipment like snorkels for free here. Thanks again for the stay guys 🙏🏻
