The staff were helpful, the food lovely and the rooms clean and had great amenities. The coffee machine, and complimentary snacks, drinks were a nice touch too.

Really charming and helpful staff who anticipated our needs. Perfect location made even more special by snow and twinkling lights. Good quality breakfast and dinner and lovely cosy fire in the bar. Everything ran very smoothly.

The perfect stay in Grassington for the weekend. The hotel was lovely and clean, comfortable and value for money and in a great location. The breakfast was also great, would definitely stay again!

Staff were really helpful, especially as we had to stay an extra night due to the heavy snow. Breakfast was lovely, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We stayed with our dog, who was made very welcome. I would definitely recommend the black horse and will be back. Thank you

We both loved the warm and friendly welcome the staff were lovely. The room was warm cosy and very clean. I myself noticed the attention to detail. There was so much storage space. There was no noise from the bar it was very peaceful. The village is very pretty. We had an Indian meal on the first evening it didn't disappoint. The breakfast was amazing. We ate in the restaurant on the second evening but make sure you book its very popular. Due to extreme weather and wind at 40 mph, We visited how stean Gorge this was sheltered from the wind. We are planning on visiting again during the summer. The picture attached is Janet's phoss.
