Set in Tuscan countryside 20 minutes outside Florence, Villa Il Sasso - Dimora d'Epoca, a historic 13th-century building with extensive gardens, offers a peaceful alternative to hectic inner-city accommodation.
The pretty woods and lawns in the garden are home to a private chapel and a lovely swimming pool which looks out over the hills, guaranteeing relaxation. In summer you can enjoy aperitif or a snack from the bar by the poolside or in the garden.
Villa Il Sasso is just a few kilometres from a large golf club and you can also go walking or cycling from the hotel. Tours can be booked directly at the hotel.
Il Sasso’s charming rooms feature beautiful old furnishings and original frescoes and all come with modern facilities including free internet access.
