Staff were really good. Breakfast excellent. Room was a bit dark due to its location and the bed was a bit hard for us but that's a personal thing now that we're getting older. The facility to provide a bed topper would be really helpful.

The rooms were really nice and well maintained. Our bathroom was also really clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was also really good, you always had a nice choice of fresh made breakfast items. The staff was also really helpful and kind. All in all it was a really good experience. The location itself is also perfect. Grasmere is ideally situated if you're looking into a holiday with lots of walking.

Accommodation at Victoria House was lovely. The room we had was warm, very comfortable and looked out over a garden with flowers in blossom. Each morning we could hear the gentle twitter of the resident birds. Location was great. A short walk to most of the things in Grasmere, while also a good starting point for a bunch of the walks recommended in the area. Limited parking on their premises but plenty of street parking (which is a 1 hour limited from 10-4 but otherwise free). The breakfast spread was excellent 👌 The shower was also excellent 👌👌

This was a beautiful guest house with the bonus of a garden to enjoy the beautiful weather we had during our stay. We enjoyed home made brownies on arrival. Breakfast was great, with lots of choice and the room was comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

The property was a lovely finished, staff were all very friendly. Good choice of breakfast not only hot but also a good selection of bread, pastry’s and yogurt pots. The location was perfect for us, local pubs and restaurants, on the bus route to local towns and great if you love the outdoors.
