This was a beautiful and well appointed property, a five minute scenic walk into the pretty little village of Grasmere. Jacky our host was just lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we entered. Our bedroom beautifully decorated with a updated modern bathroom, though one of the smaller of the doubles had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay, there was a comfortable lounge for guests which we did use during our stay, an inviting dining room which we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each of the mornings. The Raise View is completely surrounded by the most wonderful scenery. We definitely would recommend this little gem in the Lake District.

Great location with a fantastic welcome. Parking off site. Hike in / out - with excellent advice on hand. Room View Nice touch of complementary fudge (thanks!) 100% the only place we would book if / when returning to Grassmere / Ambleside.
