Location was stunning. Bed was comfortable, powerful shower, just creaky floorboards. Breakfast was self service; however it would have been more efficient if individual breakfast orders were taken to save on time waiting for replenishments and any wastage.

Amazing views. Deer spotting. Exploring the grounds. Evenings round the log fire. Being looked after by the excellent Sue for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. Beautiful room, excellent breakfast. Proximity to Village amenities and tourist attractions.

Staff very pleasant and worked very hard. Went out of the way to make us feel very welcome. Our room was cold so the staff member put additional heating in the room for us.

We booked very last minute (10 minutes before arriving), but the staff were super friendly and stayed behind to ensure the room was made up for us even though they'd finished for the day. They even gave us recommendations for local bars and eateries/shops. Would definitely come back again.

Bohemian Feel - I felt made at home in heaven :) The landscape around the hotel is breathtaking and no roads ( just the long path/ drive towards the Hotel ) so all you can hear is water and birds and Nature. I really felt welcomed.
