The property was clean and inviting, homely with a feel of ‘you’ll be well looked after here’. We liked the room and the area but the icing on the cake are the staff who will make you feel incredibly welcome.

We loved our stay at Bridge house, The room was large with quality furnishings and very clean. The bathroom was of a high standard and the breakfast was superb and fresh. We also loved the idea of being able to utilise the kitchen to make tea and coffee whenever we chose to. They even offer afternoon tea at no extra cost.

We’ve been a few times now and really love the personal approach from the hotel. Love the tea and coffee facilities and the cream tea, and the terrace by the river. Breakfast was excellent and the room was fabulous. Loved the free standing bath! The staff really look after you and make you feel welcome.

Finding out there was afternoon tea for us once we'd checked in and a hot drinks machine available was a wonderful bonus (and one we had to try out!) Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Room was lovely and bed was nice and comfy. A wonderful location. Breakfast was very tasty.

Lovely hotel with relaxed atmosphere and fantastic staff. We had some extra needs which I mentioned to the staff beforehand, they went out of the way to make sure everything was comfortable for us.
