Hotel Overview

Idylically situated in the south-west corner of Lincolnshire, Britain's oldest inn, Angel and Royal Hotel, is an historic hotel that's said to have hosted 7 kings over 600 hundred years.
Britian's oldest inn has been beautifully restored and provides affordable luxury in the ancient market town of Grantham. Angel and Royal Hotel features an award-winning restaurant, individually furnished suites and bedrooms, as well as cosy, fire-lit nooks and bars, and modern conference facilities.
Please note this hotel does not have a lift and many rooms are set on the first floor, as well as the ground floor.

right I n the middle of the town.very histori i but quiet.a cut above the usual pub with rooms it's a real hotel,reputedly the oldest in the world

You turn off the busy high street and enter an avenue of wonder. Little doors and subtle Christmad lights made it feel like I stepped back in time. Lovely setting . The smell of woodsmoke and comfortable surroundings plus the gorgeous alleyway provide a unique welcome. Staff friendly. Sumptuous bed and very comfortable. Thoughtful additions like pencil and paper, a table and 2 very comfortable chairs. Lots of touches to make guests welcome.
