We had an amazing holiday! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the facilities were top-notch - a holiday within itself! We felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. A truly superb getaway.

Kind and attentive staff. Very good and plentiful meals and buffet. There is something for everyone. Spacious and comfortable room with all the necessary equipment. Many activities for children and adults also but some of them must be reserved by advance.

The rooms were spacious and nice. Beds were comfy. Nice shower facilities. Nice pool, great buffet food for breakfast and dinner with a decent rotation of dishes (for our 7 day stay). Nice 20 minute walk along the beach to shops, shopping mall, supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars. In other words, a fantastic place for a very relaxing vacation with a nice view of the ocean at the doorstep.

The Grand Baie was like going back in time to an era where style and service were key. The hotel and grounds are heavenly, with many private little nooks to occupy in public areas. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the infinity pool overlooking the bay is amazing.

We had 3 rooms 2 were close together 1 was not. I asked for 1 room to have single beds sadly this was not granted therefore my daughter had to sleep on a pull out bed on the floor - not ideal. Breakfast and evening meal were buffet style, nice and fresh however I feel there could have been some fresh meats already prepared as we had to wait sometimes 10 minutes for meat to be cooked in a Q, same at breakfast for eggs Some staff were new and not really sure what to do - have to remember also that they take a different look at life, slowly slowly!!

the location is great, in the heart of grand baie but still a bit far from the main road noise. it is cosy and chill. near the cuvette beach which we loved. this resort has an aesthetic design
