Good location (walking distance to the city centre and many restaurants and bars around), the room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was large. The room was clean and towards the inner court, which meant less noise. The reception staff was quite helpful.

The location of this hotel is ideal. It's in a quiet residential neighbourhood with mainly local families and business folks walking around. It's a 10min walk through residential streets to the centre of town. Some reviews on here complain about it but people are lazy! 10 mins to be in a quiet neighbourhood is not a bad thing. Just put your trainers on and walk and make the most of seeing the local surroundings. Lots of places to eat and drink next door and en route to the old town. Shops galore especially local fruiterers and specialist shops. It was a real cultural experience. This hotel is easily reached by tram from the train station. The sound proofing is excellent as it's an old style hotel with solid doors and walls. The beds were very comfy and it was luxury for the kids to have single beds to sleep on rather than a sofa bed in a family room! You can order different pillow types from the reception which was useful. Staff we helpful too explaining how to get to places. Quick lifts to the 6 floors. Sanitiser available. Vanity sets in the bathroom which is useful if you have forgotten your toothbursh, comb and toothpaste!

Perfect location, close to city centre and away from traffic noise. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. Quiet. Good breakfast. Quick check in and check out.

Lovely rooms, fabulous staff but a 10-15 minute trek to the centre every time you want to do anything does get a bit wearing. Fab cafe next door for breakfast, £20 for 4 people!

The beds and pillows were quite nice. The lighting on the room was great and the aesthetic was pleasant. The location of the hotel was a decent but a bit of a walk to the historical sites.
