Possibly the most exceptional place I've ever stayed. First the people - I was welcomed into the family by the wonderful "Angus" and her son, Rafa. A place that has been in their family for generations and lovingly and creatively converted into a 4 bedroom hotel opening in early 2024. Every room, every corner of the place is unique and drop dead gorgeous. I stayed in Las Banuelo room, which came with its own Turkish bath with "stars" lighting the ceiling. So many amazing Moorish details. Simply beautiful. The included breakfasts were divine, as was the care of Alicia who was always ready to answer questions and offer advice. They even packed me a to-go breakfast the night before my early morning departure. And then, there's the view. Absolutely stunning views of Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The sunsets were so gorgeous I had to pinch myself. The location high in the amazing Albayzin quarter was second to none and walkable to everything (if you don't mind hills and stairs). This is an extraordinary, special place that will live on in my dreams and memories.

We loved EVERYTHING. It was HEAVENLY. Seriously, this is what it must feel like to be George Clooney or somebody like that because from the second we arrived to the second we left, Rafael and his staff did absolutely everything in their power to make sure our stay was PERFECT. And the room? It would have been amazing even without THAT view but it does have that view and I spent literally hours just looking at it. We want to go back, like, now. Can we go back, please?

As someone who has frequented Granada countless times and experienced all its luxury hotels, I can confidently say that this place stands unrivaled. It offers pure indulgence and an overwhelming beauty. The Alhambra has never appeared as breathtaking as it does through the windows and terraces here, with the soft drapery and the harmonious blend of colors and designs enhancing its splendor. It unveils the Alhambra in a new light—a secluded and ethereal view. The owners and their team—Manuel, Angus, Rafa, and Alicia—are among the most dedicated, professional, and gracious individuals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They ensure that your stay is nothing short of extraordinary, attending to every detail with unparalleled precision. Every possible need is met, and the room holds even more than you could anticipate. Remarkably, the price is incredibly reasonable given the level of luxury and the abundance of amenities, which far surpass those offered by any other hotel. Words and photos fall short of capturing the magic of this place. I will leave you with this: I visited Casa JuanRanas in June, and I returned now solely to experience this slice of paradise once more. It cannot be compared to anything in the city or anywhere else in the world.

Excellent Service, I really appreciate friendly and helpful staff members(Rafael) who go above and beyond to ensure my pleasant stay, Clean and Comfortable Rooms, clean and comfortable accommodations, comfortable beds, and well-maintained facilities, Great Location, Hotel is in convenient and desirable locations, I appreciate being close to attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, Delicious Food, the onsite restaurants breakfast was wonderful ,variety of natural & organic choices. Beautiful Views, wonderful mountains and the scenic surroundings. Excellent Amenities, I appreciate the wide range of amenities complimentary services ,room supplies , Wi-Fi & breakfast Value for Money, reasonable prices that provide a high-quality experience at an affordable rate ,Overall Satisfaction, I had a wonderful experience, felt welcomed, and would highly recommend the hotel to others . For sure it will be my first option visiting Granada in future My warm & special thanks to the wonderful Rafael who made it as wonderful remarkable stay

Epic you want to be well looked after then stay here. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, we felt like royalty. The room was beautiful, everything of the highest quality, with a spectacular view over the Alhambra. Alicia saw to it that we had everything we needed somehow even before we knew we need it! The property position in the Albaicin was an added bonus, right in the heart of the area with so much going on, although it was hard to tear ourselves away from our terrace!
