The surroundings are amazing if you are looking for a peaceful place to be. The view of the mountain as soon as you step out the hotel is incredible. I liked the village a lot. The apartments are very clean. Actually I do not know how the hotels rooms are because the owner switched us to the apartments.

The location in the village at the bottom of the Zugspitz was perfect. Then train up the mountain stopped in the village allowing us to either go up or down to Garmisch Partenkirchen. Although not in season the restaurants close by in the village were great

Beautiful town, the hotel is very close to the bus and train station (3 min walk). The hotel is authentic and the people working there are nice and helpful. The breakfast is nice but nothing too special. Enough to get your morning started. One of our mattress was a bit uncomfortable but we told the staff about it at the end of our stay and they were very keen to improve. I definitely recommend this place and I will come back.

The location was great! You can easily reach Eibsee lake or Garmish with the bus. It was quiet and clean.

Beautiful location, wish I could have stayed longer.The host was very welcoming and helpful.Very nice room with balcony overlooking the street. Great place to spend your evening in sight of the Zugspitz!

The location, the owners and the room were great. They have drinks (beer, water, Prosecco) and snacks available even during the night. Many hiking trails start from there (Eibsee (1 h.), Höllentalklamm (1,20 h. etc.), you can get on a small train to Eibsee (10 - 15 min.) and then on a lift to Zugspitze. There is a nice restaurant nearby (Jägerstüberl).
