We did not stay at the Alpinist as they were under re-construction work. I'm sure they were aware of this work and rather than a refund they sent us to the other hotel Malyovista opposite.

Perfect location with parking lot. Big room and bathroom. Starting point for many mountain trails.

Rooms are just renovated, very comfortable and clean. Swimming pool and spa center are very good, especially for a hotel, which is relatively high in the Rila mountain (1700m height)

The hotel has recently been renovated and is very modern and clean. We loved our time there and are already discussing going back soon.
