Situated on the banks of the Lusatian Neisse River, the family-run Pension Obermühle is a 10-minute walk from the Polish border. It has an in-house brewery, and features a dining terrace overlooking the river.

The hotel although it is in the town ow Gorlitz you get a feeling like you are in the middle of the nature. Very simply furnished rooms but nice, very clean and well fitted with beautiful view of the water. restaurant has great terrace with nice variety of food and very nice beer. Breakfast was set up very well. Very friendly staff. Little further walk from the city center but a nice walk. Parking facilities on site.

Easy to find overlooking the river, we arrived as a party of 4, the waitress transcribed the menu by hand into English to help us, I can't think of many hotels where you eat while watching a kingfisher on a river
