Free upgrade. We were supposed to stay at the Wildside Tented Lodge but were instead upgraded to Lakeside Lodge. Lakeside Lodge was well located along a beautiful lake (home to some hippos and crocodiles) and it was also nested between a mountain range. The full board nature of the stay helped to ensure the entire family just rested and focused on enjoying the activities. The food was decent; the kitchen and front of house staff was also warm and they went all out to make our New Year’s stay memorable and special. The game farm has a wide variety of game. Our ranger (Solly) was knowledgeable and he ensured which each outing we got to see new animals. The game farm is circa 22000ha which allowed for visiting different routes for each game drive which was a great experience for the entire family. We also enjoyed a picnic by the river where it was safe to swim. Our ranger (Solly) had good hospitality skills in arranging our refreshments during the mid game leg stretch periods. Solly was also very calm and in charge when two white rhinos walked straight into us during the leg stretch period.

We loved everything. Connie and Daisy is the most helpful and friendly staff at Entabeni. The game drives with Isaac was awesome. The food is excellent and the views of the mountains and sunsets is unbelievable. This was not our first visit and will not be the last!! Even the animals are friendly.
